Darien Man Charged With Domestic Battery, Still Faces DUI Count
An $18,000 vehicle was stolen from a job site in a Darien neighborhood, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:
Domestic battery
- A 36-year-old Darien man who lives in the 7200 block of Western Avenue was arrested about 5:30 a.m. Sunday at his home on a domestic battery charge. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. In January, he was charged with DUI. He pleaded not guilty, but the case has not been resolved.
Theft

- A Kubota utility terrain vehicle was reported stolen about 7:30 a.m. May 28 at a construction site at Beller and Sandalwood drives. The vehicle is valued at $18,000.
- A rear driver's side tire was reported missing from a vehicle about 5 p.m. May 27 in the 1100 block of Hinswood Drive. The tire and rim were valued at $465.
