Darien Man Charged With Drugs In Elmhurst: Cops

ELMHURST, IL – A Darien man faces charges after he was found slumped behind the wheel Friday in Elmhurst, police said.

Michael Rice, 34, of Darien, was charged with DUI (drugs) and possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

He was stopped about 7 p.m. Friday near Route 83 and North Avenue.

The police report did not indicate the type of drug he had.
