Darien Man Faces Battery Charge: Cops

In another case, two men are accused in connection with a vehicle burglary, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:

Domestic battery

  • Justin Chernivsky, 40, of Darien, was arrested about 6:30 p.m. March 26 in the 900 block of Ironwood Avenue on a charge of domestic battery. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

  • Reginald Harris, 20, and Byron Moore, 26, both of Chicago, were arrested about 2 a.m. March 24 near the apartment complex at 8337 Captons Lane on charges of possession of stolen vehicle parts, possession of burglary tools and criminal damage to property. Police were called after they heard about the suspects in the complex's parking lot. They were taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Stolen converter

  • A catalytic converter was stolen from a car March 23 or March 24 at Extended Stay America hotel, 2345 Sokol Court. The loss was estimated at $500.

  • Ray Olson, 60, of Evergreen Park, was cited about 10 p.m. March 21 near 75th Street and Cass Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license and driving with a suspended registration. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Olga Alonzo, 39, of Chicago, was cited about 8 a.m. March 22 in the 1400 block of 75th Street on charges of driving on a revoked license, driving an uninsured vehicle and speeding in a school zone. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • James Midderhoff Jr., age unavailable, of Woodridge, was cited about 7 p.m. Sunday near 79th Street and Warwick Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Trisha-Ann Hurley, 49, of South Bend, Indiana, was cited about 9 p.m. Sunday on a charge of driving with a suspended license. She was released and given a date to appear in court.

Warrant

  • Autumn Clay, 22, of Willowbrook, was arrested about 7 p.m. March 25 in the 8200 block of Cass Avenue on a DeKalb County warrant charging failure to appear in court. She was clocked speeding 56 mph in a 40 mph zone. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
