Darien Man Flees From Cop, Faces Felony Charge: Police
The man was arrested on aggravated fleeing and DUI charges, authorities said.
WESTMONT, IL – Westmont officers chased after a Darien man early Friday morning, police said.
Brandon J. Collier, 40, who lives in the 800 block of Walnut Drive, was arrested on charges of felony aggravated fleeing from an officer, DUI, resisting a police officer, reckless driving, speeding 26 to 34 mph over the limit, driving with expired license plates, improper lane usage, disobeying a traffic signal and failure to yield turning left, police said.
About 12:30 a.m., officers tried to stop Collier in the 300 block of North Cass Avenue. Collier sped away, and when he finally stopped, he fled on foot, police said.

Collier was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
