Darien May See New Chain Restaurant
A zoning application is expected to be submitted, an official said.

DARIEN, IL – A chain restaurant may come to Darien's old TGI Fridays restaurant, which closed in December 2024.
Last week, Patch asked Dan Gombac, the city's municipal services director, about the status of the vacant building at 2201 75th St at the Darien Towne Centre, which includes Walmart.
"The developer is working with two national brands, a coffee shop and an ice cream establishment," Gombac said in an email. "They are in the process of submitting for a zoning application."
