Darien Plans Concerts In The Park
Two concerts will be held, one on July 15 and one on Aug. 5.
DARIEN, IL — The Darien Park District will hold two concerts in the park this summer at Darien Community Park, 7100 Clarendon Hills Road. The first, featuring Johnny Russler & the Beach Bum Band will be held Sunday, July 15 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The band plays music from Jimmy Buffet, Bob Marley, Paul Simon, the Beach Boys and more, according to the park district.
The second concert will be held Sunday, Aug. 5 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and will feature Spoken Four. According to the park district, the band covers the 60s through today. The show is family oriented and features lots of mashups.
