Darien Police Blotter: Domestic Abuse, Disorderly Conduct

Police in Darien made arrests for outstanding warrants, domestic abuse, and more.

DARIEN, IL — The following items were taken from the Darien Crime Blotter through Jan. 25.

Domestic Battery

On Jan. 19, Darien Police responded to report of physical domestic battery in the 7600 block of Brookhaven Ave. After an investigation, police arrested Heather Worzalla, 35, and charged her with two counts of domestic battery.

Disorderly Conduct

Police arrested a man at Q Billiards after he allegedly became involved in a physical altercation. The incident took place on Jan. 20 just before 1:30 a.m. Gilbert Ciezobka, 24, of Hodgkins was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct.

Warrant Service

On Jan. 21, police went to a house in the 7600 block of Brookhaven in response to a 911 hangup call. Upon arrival, they found a "disabled vehicle" parked on the front lawn of the home. Police arrested the resident, Ventress Exton, 35, for an outstanding warrant in Cook County.

At approximately 2:22 a.m. on Jan. 22, police observed a car heading westbound on S. Frontage near Cass Ave. The car drifted across the center lane twice, police say. Officers made a traffic stop and arrested Marquis Combs, 31, of Chicago for an outstanding warrant in DuPage County.
