Darien Police Looking For Part-Time Community Service Officer

This is a 19-hour per week position with no additional benefits. Starting pay is $18.70 per hour.

DARIEN, IL — The Darien Police Department is accepting applications for a part-time Community Service Officer position. The city said this is a 19-hour per week position with no additional benefits. Starting pay is $18.70 per hour.

According to the city newsletter, uniforms and equipment are provided. The candidate has to be able to work Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Schedule may vary during training and special City events.

According to the city, the CSO provides general support for the police department and service to residents through community policing; enforces the ordinances of the City, including parking, animal complaints and other City codes; and provides general assistance to citizens and the community.
