Darien Resident Arrested In DUI Crash: Cops
The car was left in the southbound lanes of Cass Avenue, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:
DUI
- Richard E. Flor, 29, of Darien, was arrested about 3:30 a.m. Friday at Cass Avenue and North Frontage Road on charges of DUI, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, driving an uninsured vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. An officer was called about a disabled car parked in the southbound lanes of Cass Avenue with the lights off and no driver in the car. Flor was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Vasile Roponica, 23, of Lemont, was arrested about 11 p.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of 75th Street on charges of DUI, no valid driver's license and improper lane use. He swerved from lane to lane, police said. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
Retail theft

- Brooke M. Larson, 47, of Lisle, was cited about 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, 2189 75th St., on a charge of retail theft. Police said she was seen under-scanning multiple items.
- Ashley Bailey, 32, of Glendale Heights, was cited about 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Walmart, 2189 75th St., on a charge of retail theft. Police said she was seen under-scanning multiple items. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
Theft
- A Darien resident told police that her wallet was stolen while she was at Trader Joe's in Downers Grove. When canceling her credit cards, she found one charge for $1,288 was approved and four other charges were declined. She filed a report Friday.
- Bicycles, a plastic pool, a table and chairs were stolen from outside a house between Thursday and Saturday in the 7500 block of Country Lane. The loss was about $250.
Warrants

- Bonjara D. O'Quinn, 30, of Westmont, was arrested about 8 a.m. Saturday on four warrants from DuPage and Will counties. One of the warrants involved a charge of possession of a controlled substance. The others were for failure to appear in court on charges of domestic battery, phone harassment and driving with a suspended license. She was stopped for an expired registration. O'Quinn was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Driving violations
- Jose A. Miranda, 30, of Stickney, was cited about 10 a.m. Friday in the 8900 block of Lemont Road on a charge of driving with a suspended license. He also received a warning for using an electronic device while driving. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Torin B. Beebe, 59, of Westmont, was cited about 10 a.m. Saturday in the 7900 block of southbound Cass Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license. Beebe was released and given a date to appear in court.
