Darien Resident Jailed For Domestic Battery: Police

In another case, a Woodridge man is clocked going 93 mph on Plainfield Road, police say.

DARIEN, IL — Darien police dealt with cases involving domestic battery, retail theft and reckless driving, among others, in recent days. Here is information from the latest Darien police blotter:

  • Brian Alexander, 53, of Darien, was arrested about 8 p.m. May 13 in the 8300 block of Woodland Drive on a charge of domestic battery. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Two men stole nearly $400 worth of formula, diapers and energy drinks at 6 p.m. May 14 at Walmart, 2189 75th St. Store security believed the men looked suspicious and confirmed their thefts on store video.
  • Jesse Ellebb, 25, of Woodridge, was arrested at 3 a.m. May 16 on Plainfield Road on charges of fleeing and eluding officers, marijuana possession, speeding, reckless driving and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. An officer clocked Ellebb going 93 mph on Plainfield. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Isaiah Lane, 22, of Westmont, was arrested shortly before midnight May 18 on Cass Avenue at Concord Place on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • An electrical meter was stolen between 2 and 3:15 p.m. May 18 at a house in the 1600 block of Fox Hill Place.
