Darien Rotary Club Hosts Annual Fundraiser
Darien Rotary Club will host its annual fundraiser, A Taste of Route 66, on April 24.

DARIEN, IL — Darien Rotary Club will host its annual fundraiser, A Taste of Route 66, on April 24. The fundraiser will begin at 6 p.m. at Ashyana Banquets in Downers Grove.
According to the club, the annual event is allows the group to continue service initiatives in the community. The Rotary Club's signature project is Food for Kids, which is a program that provides supplemental nutrition to 195 school-age children in the Darien area. Other programs include Grants-in-Aid benefiting local civic efforts, RYLA which provides leadership training for local high school students and the Darien Rotary Dictionary Project handing out dictionaries annually to every third grader in the Darien area.
