Darien Seeks Applicants For New Alderperson

DARIEN, IL — The city and Mayor Weaver are seeking applicants for the Alderperson for Ward 2. According to the city, Alderwoman Tina Beilke will be resigning from the city council next month, as she is relocating out of Ward 2.

The city said residents of Ward 2 who are interested in serving as Alderperson can submit a statement of interest to Mayor Weaver at kweaver@darienil.gov. The appointment is made by Mayor Weaver with confirmation from the City Council and is effective through May 2019.
