Darien Staying With Same Power Company

DARIEN, IL — Darien has not changed electric suppliers, despite the communications residents may be receiving. A family recently received a letter, which appeared to be from ComEd, announcing that their electric supplier was being switched, the city said in a statement.

"We are still with ComEd and would let the residents know if we were in the process of changing," the statement said. "Please be careful with all these companies out there trying to get you to switch, as they can be misleading and convince you the city is behind."
