Darien Store Worker Accused of Theft

DARIEN, IL – A Willowbrook woman who works at Walmart in Darien was accused last week of stealing from her employer.

Tanika Turner, 29, was arrested on a charge of retail theft. In her mugshot, she was wearing a uniform Walmart shirt.

On June 21 and June 24, store surveillance video shows Turner stealing five debit gift cards totaling $2,100, police said.

She was released and given a date to appear in court.
