Darien TGI Friday's Shooting: One Injured, Suspect Fled
A shooting took place at TGI Friday's in Darien on Friday afternoon.

DARIEN, IL — A shooting took place in the TGI Friday's parking lot in Darien, according to Darien Police. Police said the area has been secured. The shooting happened at 2:02 p.m. Friday at the restaurant at 2201 75th St.
One person was shot in the abdomen, police said, but they are being treated at the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. As for the cause of the shooting, police officials said there is no reason to believe there is a threat to the community.
The suspect fled eastbound on 75th street in a black Dodge Charger, according to a release. This is an active investigation and the Darien Police are asking anybody with information to call the Darien Police at 630-971-3999.
