Darien Woman Cited In Hit-And-Run Crash: Cops
Police trail evidence to driver who struck sign, police said.
DARIEN, IL — The Darien Police Department released its latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:
- A hit-and-run accident took place about 3:30 p.m. Dec. 25 at Farmingdale and 75th streets. An officer saw a street sign on its side and badly damaged. Officers followed a trail made by a tire rim to the parking lot of the apartment complex at 7513 Farmingdale. Judy Feil, 62, of Darien, was charged with damage to city property, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to give information to the owner after striking property. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Christian Deloach, 30, of Bolingbrook, was cited about 11:30 p.m. Dec. 21 in the 7900 block of Lemont Road on charges of an expired driver's license and disobeying a traffic signal. The suspect was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Luis Antonio Aguaiza-Mizhqui, 31, of Chicago, was cited shortly before 8 a.m. Dec. 23 on Cass Avenue at Interstate 55 on charges of driving with a revoked license and speeding. He was clocked going 59 mph in a 40 mph zone. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Anita Donato, 43, of Chicago, was cited about 3:30 p.m. Dec. 23 at Lemont Road and 97th Street on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. She was stopped after making an unauthorized U-turn. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Shavanna Willhite, 35, of Evanston, was cited about 1 a.m. Dec. 24 on northbound Interstate 55 at Lemont Road on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. She was stopped after an officer saw her speeding 99 mph in a 55 mph zone. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
