Darien Youth Sells LSD To Undercover Cop: Police

Juvenile is to be detained until his next court appearance.

DARIEN, IL — A Darien juvenile was charged Thursday after he sold 200 LSD tablets to an undercover officer, DuPage County prosecutors announced in a news release.

On Wednesday, the undercover officer with the DuPage Metropolitan Enforcement Group, or DuMEG, bought the tablets from the juvenile, the release said. The youth is also accused of having ammunition without holding a valid firearm owner's identification card.

According to the release, DuMEG's LSD seizures have increased 100 percent since 2017.
