Disorderly Conduct, DUI: Darien Cops

A Willowbrook man was charged after an incident at a Darien store, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Friday. Here is information from the latest Darien police reports:

Disorderly conduct

  • DeVree Vanhorn, 39, of Willowbrook, was cited about 11 p.m. July 7 at Walgreens, 7516 Cass Ave., on a charge of disorderly conduct. Vanhorn was released and given a date to appear in court.

DUI

  • Kurt Wolter, 58, of Glen Ellyn, was arrested about 1 a.m. Saturday in the 800 block of Lemont Road on charges of DUI and improper usage. Police said he was swerving between lanes. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

Damage to car

  • A vehicle was damaged between June 1 and July 6 outside a house in the 2600 block of 83rd Street. The loss is estimated at $1,000.

Graffiti

  • Graffiti was sprayed on the sidewalk and walls about July 7 in the 600 block of Walnut Avenue.

Converter theft

  • A catalytic converter was stolen overnight July 7 from a car at WoodSpring Suites, 951 N. Frontage Road. The loss was estimated at $1,000.

Driving violations

  • Mohammed Nofal, 24, of Oak Lawn, was cited about 7:30 p.m. July 6 in the 500 block of 76th Street on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding. Police said he was speeding 38 mph in a 25 mph zone. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
