Domestic Battery, DUIs: Darien Cops

A man assaulted an officer responding to a domestic dispute, police said.

DARIEN, IL – In the last few days, Darien police arrested people on charges of domestic battery, aggravated assault, disorderly conduct and DUI. Here is information from the reports:

Domestic battery

  • Daniel Dorsey, 65, a resident of WoodSpring Suites, 951 N. Frontage Road, was arrested about 7:30 a.m. April 3 at the hotel on two counts of domestic battery and one count of aggravated assault on a police officer. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Disorderly conduct

  • Mack Brown, 29, who lives at Extended Stay America, 2345 Sokol Court, was cited about 11 a.m. Friday at the hotel on a charge of disorderly conduct. Police said they responded to a dispute. Brown was released and given a date to appear in court.

DUIs

  • Nora Fox, 27, of Chicago, was arrested about midnight Thursday on charges of DUI, attempting to obstruct justice, improperly using lanes, disobeying a traffic signal, using unsafe tires and driving a vehicle with a suspended registration. At 75th Street and Farmingdale Drive, Fox was seen swerving between lanes, with both passenger side tires flat. She was stopped at Hinsdale South High School.
  • Anthony Herman, 55, of Chicago, was arrested about 2 a.m. April 3 on Lemont Road on charges of DUI, driving an uninsured vehicle and driving with expired license plates. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Eitvydas Burokas, 25, of Naperville, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Friday on a charge of DUI. He was found behind the wheel in his car, which was parked at Shell gas station, 8975 Lemont Road. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Robert Cannon, 21, of Romeoville, was arrested about 4 a.m. Sunday on charges of DUI, speeding and improper lane usage. Police said Cannon was speeding 62 mph in a 40 mph zone and swerving over the center lane marker on Lemont Road near 75th Street. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
