Darien Arrests 2 On Domestic Battery Charges: Police

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest weekly blotter Thursday. Here is information from the police reports:

Domestic battery

• Darien officers were called about 8:30 p.m. Monday to the area of the Darien police station for a domestic disturbance. A 21-year-old Chicago woman was arrested on a domestic battery charge. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
• A 22-year-old Darien man who lives in the 8400 block of Dixon Court was arrested about 2 a.m. Friday on a domestic battery charge. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

DUI

• A 28-year-old Brownsville, Texas, man was arrested about 2 a.m. Saturday at Cass Avenue and Plainfield Road on charges of DUI and improper lane usage. Police said the man swerved over the center median several times. He was given a court date and then released.
• A 28-year-old Chicago woman was arrested about 1 a.m. Friday at 75th Street and Lemont Road on charges of DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lane usage. Police said an officer saw the woman go on and off the roadway and then cross into oncoming traffic. She was given a court date and then released.
