Domestic Violence, Burglary: Darien Police
A Darien woman was charged with domestic violence and taken to jail, police said.
DARIEN, IL — The latest Darien police reports include the arrest of a Darien woman on a domestic violence charge. Here is the information from the reports:
- Davina Wolfe, 25, of Darien, was arrested about 5 p.m. March 9 on a charge of domestic battery. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- A house in the 1400 block of Darien Club Drive was burglarized between 7:30 a.m. and 3:50 p.m. March 4. The homeowner reported miscellaneous items were stolen. The loss is estimated at $25,000 to $35,000.
- A man driving a black Cadillac Escalade rear-ended another car about 5:20 p.m. March 6 in the 6700 block of Tennessee Avenue. The man pulled in the lot at the Minuteman gas station, 402 Plainfield Road, and exited onto westbound Plainfield. The estimated damage is unknown.
- Two front windows were shattered by a pellet between 5 p.m. March 6 and 12:20 p.m. March 7 in the 3300 block of Gilbert Court.
- Clarque Stewart, 25, of Chicago, was arrested about 1 a.m. March 7 at Cass Avenue and North Frontage Road on charges of no valid registration, crossing a designated median and failing to appear on a warrant from DeKalb County. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Abel Castaneda, 53, of Shorewood, was arrested 11:30 p.m. March 7 in the 1200 block of North Frontage Road on charges of DUI, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane usage. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Angelina Jaramillo, 18, of Downers Grove, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. March 8 on Cass Avenue on charges of consumption of alcohol by a minor and unlawful standing or parking to an adjacent curb. An officer heard a car engine revving up and saw a vehicle stuck on a concrete parking stop at Jewel. Jaramillo was released and given a date to appear in court.
