Domestic Violence, Shoplifting: Darien Police
Police respond to a disturbance at Taco Bell and arrest a man, according to a report.
DARIEN, IL — The Darien Police Department released its latest blotter, which included a domestic violence incident at Taco Bell and a burglary at Dunkin' Donuts. Here is the latest information from the police:
- Raven Roberts, 26, of Westmont, was arrested shortly after 3 a.m. Jan. 25 in the 6900 block of Cass Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding. She was given a date to appear in traffic court in Downers Grove.
- Matthew Warner, 35, of Aurora, was arrested shortly before 7 p.m. Jan. 26, on a charge of domestic battery. Police responded to a disturbance at Taco Bell, 7419 Cass Ave. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- A man went through the self checkout lane at Walmart, 2189 75th St., and left without paying for two boxes of diapers shortly before midnight Jan. 26. The diapers cost $53.94.
- Ryan Kirn, 27, of Darien, was arrested shortly before 4:30 p.m. Jan. 26 on two DuPage County warrants and taken to the DuPage County Jail. This was after police were called to Jewel, 7335 Cass Ave., about a man removing a case of Gatorade and leaving the store without paying. He was detained by officers and the stolen property was recovered.
- The front door window to Dunkin' Donuts, 2445 7th St., was shattered in a burglary that was reported about 4 a.m. Jan. 27. A register was damaged. The loss was estimated at $126.
