Donate Winter Coats At Darien-Woodridge Fire Station

Darien-Woodridge Fire Station is collecting winter coats for those in need between Nov. 1 and Jan. 15.

DARIEN, IL — Now that chilly weather seems to be here to stay, it's the perfect time to clean out your closet and get rid of any old winter coats. The DuPage PADS is currently collecting gently used winter coats and jackets to help homeless people stay warm during cold weather. Residents can make donations at the Darien-Woodridge Fire Protection District at 7550 Lyman.

The donation process is easy. Just find a winter coat that's in decent shape and drop it off in the box at the Darien-Woodridge Fire Protection District Station 89. The station will be accepting coat donations from Nov. 1, 2017, through Jan. 15, 2018.

Donations are also being accepted at the Lisle-Woodridge Fire Protection District Station 53 at 3101 Woodridge Dr. in Woodridge.
