Downers Grove Woman Accused Of DUI: Darien Cops
Darien police charged seven people for driving violations in the last week, according to reports.
DARIEN, IL — Darien police released its latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from local police reports:
DUI
- Victoria Brownlee, 36, of Downers Grove, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Sunday on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. An officer was called about a driver asleep behind the wheel at 75th Street and Cass Avenue. The driver, identified as Brownlee, had left by the time the officer got there. The officer then saw Brownlee hitting a median and weaving between lanes. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
Warrants

- Yuri Maln, 60, of Bolingbrook, was cited about 1 p.m. Saturday in the 8200 block of Lemont Road on a Will County warrant. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Agustin Ruiz Sanchez, 44, of Woodridge, was arrested about 7 p.m. Friday on a Will County warrant and two DuPage County warrants. He was cited in Darien on a charge of no valid driver's license. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
Driving violations
- Pedro Abarca Morales, 47, of Darien, was cited about 10:30 a.m. Feb. 22 near Cass Avenue and 75th Street on charges of driving with a revoked license and no safety test. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Daniel Ortiz, 56, of Chicago, was cited about 1 p.m. Feb. 22 near Cass Avenue and Hinswood Drive on charges of driving with a revoked license and speeding. He was clocked speeding 61 mph in a 40 mph zone. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Maqueeda Taylor, 29, of Chicago, was cited about 1:30 p.m. Feb. 22 on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding. He was clocked speeding 65 mph in a 40 mph zone. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Antwonn McGee, 29, of Richton Park, was cited about 12:30 p.m. Feb. 23 on charges of driving with a revoked license, tinted windows and possession of marijuana by a driver. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Oscar Gonzales-Gonzales, age and town unavailable, was cited about 2:30 pm. Friday on Lemont Road on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding. He was clocked speeding 56 mph in a 40 mph zone. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- An 18-year-old man was cited about 3 a.m. Sunday on charges of unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor and speeding. He was clocked speeding 54 mph in a 40 mph zone. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Gerald Anderson, 41, of Downers Grove, was cited about midnight Sunday on 75th Street on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle while using a phone and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
