Dr. Kristy Cho joins Goers Dental Care in Darien

Kristy Cho, D.D.S., has joined Goers Dental Care as a general dentist. Goers Dental Care is located at 6700 Route 83, Darien, and serves many surrounding suburbs.

"I enjoy developing relationships with patients and helping them achieve and maintain optimal oral health," Dr. Cho said.

She received her bachelor of science public health degree in Nutrition from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and her D.D.S. from Chapel Hill. In addition, she completed a residency in general practice at Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood.

In 2010, Dr. Cho served as president of University of North Carolina Global Brigades, a not-for-profit organization that recruits dentists and students to travel to rural communities in Honduras to provide free dental care.

"We welcome Dr. Cho to our practice in Darien," said Dr. Ron Goers. "Her dedication is off the map, and she will make a positive impact on all of our patients."

Dr. Cho joins Dr. Ron Goers who is trained in endodontics, cosmetic, restorative and anxiety-free dentistry; Dr. John Micaletti who specializes in periodontics; Dr. Grace Castro, a former registered nurse, now a general dentist; and Alexis B. Youn, D.D.S., a general dentist who recently joined the practice.

She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society and the Illinois State Dental Society.
