Driver Strikes Darien Restaurant: Cops
The driver explained to an officer why the crash happened.
DARIEN, IL – A driver last Tuesday night struck Taco Bell, 7419 S. Cass Ave., police said.
The driver told an officer that something went wrong with the brakes and that the car accelerated over the curb and hit the building, Deputy Police Chief Jason Norton said in an email to Patch.
"There were no charges associated with the event," Norton said. "We do not have any further investigation at this point."
