Driver Wanted for Backing Over Clarendon Hills Police Officer

The Clarendon Hills Police Department is looking for information about the driver of an early 2000s gold or tan Toyota Camry.

The Clarendon Hills Police Department is trying to find a driver who backed over a police officer Dec. 28 and drove away.

The driver is described as a man, about 18 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 156 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, according to Clarendon Hills police. The car is an early 2000s gold or tan Toyota Camry.

The driver was talking to an officer around 9 p.m. Dec. 28 in the open doorway of the Camry when he shifted to reverse and backed over the officer and drove off. He is wanted for resisting arrest and aggravated battery to a police officer, according to police.
