Retail Theft

At 12:59 p.m. on June 13 an officer was dispatched to the AT&T store, 2415 75th St. for a retail
theft. Offender entered store inquiring about phone service. Employee was distracted by a phone call and male white offender at 12:51 p.m. exited the store with an apple watch. The approximate loss was $375 no other information at this time.

Damage to Property

At 4:40 p.m. on June 13 an officer was dispatched to the Darien Police Department for a damage to property. Victim advised between 6 p.m. on June 12 to 8 a.m. on June 13 unknown offender(s) damaged a mailbox in the 2200 block of Donegal Drive. The approximate loss is $50 no other information at this time.

DUI

At 12:54 a.m. on June 15 an officer on patrol southbound Lemont Road approaching 83rd Street
observed a vehicle northbound speeding. Chaz Smith, 35, of Naperville, was arrested on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, operating uninsured motor vehicle, illegal transportation of alcohol, speeding, improper lane usage and failure to signal. Smith was processed and given a court date of July 23, 2019 at the DuPage County Judicial Center.

At 2:22 a.m. on June 18 an officer southbound Lemont Road approaching I-55 observed a vehicle
on the right shoulder with hazard lights on. Michael Stone, 54, of Chicago, was arrested on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and illegal transportation of alcoholic liquor.

Theft

At 8:16 a.m. on June 15 an officer was dispatched to a theft in the 6900 block of Eleanor Avenue.
Victim advised that between June 14 at 5 p.m. and 7:45 a.m. on June 15 unknown offender(s) removed a trailer from the yard. The approximate loss was $100 no other information at this time.

Warrant

At 11:54 a.m. on June 16 an officer on patrol in the 7800 block of Lemont Road observed a vehicle
with no rear registration light. Ahsan Gill, 25, of Bolingbrook was arrested for a failure to appear warrant for a traffic offense, operating uninsured motor vehicle and driving without a registration light.

Battery

At 10:50 p.m. on June 16 officer(s) were dispatched to a battery just occurred in the 7100 block of
Walden Lane. Offender(s) in vehicle were apprehended and taken into custody. Lazarrick Farrow, 46, of Woodridge, was arrested for battery and criminal damage to property, operating uninsured motor vehicle, no registration plate on vehicle, driving while license revoked and no proper evidence of registration. Alex Wunderlich, 25, of Homer Glen was arrested for criminal damage to property.
