DUI, Car Burglaries: Darien Police Reports

Darien Police reports through Nov. 7.

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Nov. 1

  • Victim reported that his keys he left on a counter at Taco Bell were stolen. At 6:19 p.m. Oct. 31, restaurant video shows a male and a female offender removing the keys.
  • Fernando Maciel Espinosa, 59, of Chicago, was arrested at 4:57 p.m. in the 100 block of 67th Street for driving while license suspended and speeding. Maciel Espinosa was processed and released with a court date of Nov. 15 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.

  • Ramunas Ysniauskas, 32, of Downers Grove, was arrested at 12:58 a.m. in the 2200 block of 75th Street for driving while license suspended and speeding. Ysniauskas was processed and released with a court date of Dec. 13 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.

Nov. 4

  • Keith Doyle, 22, of Crest Hill, was arrested at 4:32 a.m. at Cass and Plainfield Road for two counts of DUI-alcohol and speeding. Doyle was processed and released with a court date of Dec. 11 at DuPage County Judicial Center.
  • A backpack with miscellaneous items was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 3400 block of Brewer Road sometime between 10:30 p.m. Nov. 3 and 10 a.m. Nov. 4. The approximate loss was $1,160.
  • Home video showed someone stealing miscellaneous items from an unlocked car in the 8500 block of Harvest Lane at 12:13 a.m. The approximate loss was $810.
  • Kevin Koss, 48, of the 900 block of North Frontage Road, was arrested at 8:54 p.m. at Dry Dock Park, 1125 N. Frontage Road, for disorderly conduct. Koss was processed and released with a court date of Dec. 6 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.

  • A window was broken in the 7600 block of Brookhaven Avenue around 4 a.m. The approximate damage was $500.

Nov. 6

  • Miscelleaneous tools were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the parking lot of Woodsprings Suites, 951 N. Frontage Road sometime between 1:15 and 2:15 a.m. The approximate loss was $605.
