
The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
June 7
- Benigno Solis, 33, Driving of Bolingbrook, was arrested at 2:15 a.m. in the 8800 block of Lemont Road for DUI-alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane use. Solis was processed and released with a court date of July 10 at DuPage County Judicial Center.
- Demon Moss, 26, of Bolingbrook, was arrested at 2:43 a.m. at Shell, 8975 Lemont Road, for failure to report an accident. Moss was processed and released with a court date of June 28 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.
- Murtada Hamdan, 45, of Channahon, was arrested at 5:55 p.m. at Walmart, 2189 75th St., for retail theft. Hamdan will be mailed a court date at Downers Grove Traffic Court. The value of the recovered
items was $61.08.

- A surveillance camera and wooden gate were damaged at 8:06 p.m. sometime between 12:30 and 8:06 p.m. A front door window was shattered by a pellet. The approximate loss is unknown at this time.
June 12
- Olawale Oseni, 33, of Chicago, was arrested at 12:55 a.m. in the 8000 block of Lemont Road for no valid driver's license, speeding and one headlight. Oseni was processed and will be mailed a court date for Downers Grove Traffic Court.
- Robert Pekich, 83, of the 7400 block of Richmond Avenue, was arrested at 7 a.m. in the 7400 block of Richmond for two counts of domestic battery. Pekich was processed and transported to DuPage County Jail.
