
The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Sept. 19
- Jason Sunde, 38, of the 7200 block of Leonard, was arrested at 11:58 p.m. at Leonard and Plainfield Road for driving while license suspended, expired license plate and no seatbelt. Sunde was processed, released and advised court date for Downers Grove Traffic Court would be mailed.

- Video surveillance showed three males exiting the emergency exit of Walmart, 2189 75th St., with stolen electronics at 2:15 a.m. The loss is unknown. Two of the same men were later arrested on Sept. 23 for retail theft at the same location.
Sept. 21
- Magdalene Galara, 24, of Lemont, was arrested at 1:37 a.m. at Cass and I-55 for DUI-alcohol and drugs, speeding, failure to signal and operating uninsured motor vehicle. Galara was processed, released and given a court date of Oct. 23 at DuPage County Judicial Center.

- Owen Thompson, 19, of Plainfield, was arrested at 6:11 p.m. at Jewel, 7335 Cass Ave., for retail theft after removing several bottles of alcohol. Thompson was processed, released and advised of a court date at DuPage County Judicial Center.
Sept. 23
- At 12:44 a.m., the store manager and loss prevention recognized offenders from a picture of a previous retail theft on Sept. 20 at Walmart- 2189 75th St. The offenders had a cart full of TVs and computers and were seen by the emergency exit door. They left the shopping cart when the manager started to approach them, but were taken into custody. Jeremy Willis, 32, of Chicago and Nyco Plair, 30, of Chicago, were arrested for attempted retail theft. Plair and Willis were processed, released and given a court date of Oct. 30 at DuPage County Judicial Center.
- Michael Wilkins, 18, of the 2200 block of Hamilton, was arrested at 2:55 p.m. in the 2200 block of Hamilton for domestic battery. Wilkins was transported to DuPage County Jail.
Sept. 25
- Eight batteries were stolen from a lift left in the lot in the 8300 block of Cass sometime between 3 p.m. Sept. 20 and 10 a.m. Sept. 24. The approximate loss is $2,000.
- Two males removed multiple gift cards and exited the CVS, 8325 Lemont, at 1:52 a.m. They exited the store toward westbound 83rd Street. The approximate loss was $63.
