DUI, No License: Darien Police Reports

Darien Police reports through Oct. 5.

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

DUI

  • Gary Knaflec, 21, of the 8000 block of Capra Trail, was arrested at 7:08 a.m. Sept. 29 at 75th and Cass Avenue for DUI-drugs and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Knafelc was in an accident and officers found him with cocaine residue in a baggie. Knafelc was processed and released with a court date of Oct. 30 at the DuPage CountyJudicial Center.

Driving While License Suspended

  • John Childs, 34, of Westmont, was arrested at 5:19 p.m. Sept. 29 at Cass Avenue and Plainfield Road for driving while license suspended and registration suspended for mandatory insurance violation. Childs was processed and released with a court date of Oct. 26 at the Downers Grove Field Court.
  • Joshua Bosley, 26, of the 1300 block of Regency Grove Drive, was arrested at 12:16 a.m. Oct. 4 on Cass Avenue for driving while license suspended and improper lighting-one headlight. His court date is Oct. 19 at the Downers Grove Field Court.
  • Jeremy Busby, 28, of Chicago, was arrested at 9:18 a.m. Oct. 4 at 75th Street and Exner Road for driving while license suspended. His court date is Nov. 16 at the Downers Grove Field Court.

Warrant

  • Kimberly Bottoms, 38, of Downers Grove, was arrested at 6:23 p.m. Oct. 3 at 75th and Plainfield Road for three active warrants. Bottoms had warrants out of DuPage and Kane counties. She was also wanted by Clarendon Hills Police Department for retail theft; she was transferred into their custody.

No Valid Driver's License

  • Armando Sanchez, 24, of Aurora, was arrested at 10:35 a.m. Oct. 5 at Old Oak Place and Carriage Greens Drive for no valid driver's license and speeding. His court date is Nov. 9 at the Downers Grove Field Court.
