DUI, Phone Stolen: Darien Police Reports

Darien Police reports through Oct. 10.

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Oct. 6

  • Eva Salazar Gonzalez, 20, of Hanover Park, was arrested at 1:02 a.m. in the 8500 block of Lemont Road for DUI-alcohol, disobeying traffic control signal, operating uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane use and speeding. She was released and given a court date of Nov. 6 at DuPage County Judicial Center.
  • A hit and run took place at 4:26 p.m. in the 8100 block of Cass Avenue. The offending car was a black Dodge Ram that left going northbound Cass Avenue.
  • A phone was stolen after being left behind in the 2100 block of 75th Street. The owner went back to the store to get his phone and found that it was missing. The loss is $50.

  • A diaper bag was stolen from a cart at Walmart, 2189 75th St. The bag was located and returned to the owner, but a cell phone was stolen out of the bag. Loss is $300.
