DUI, Retail Theft: Darien Arrests

Darien Police reports through May 30.

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

May 23

  • A lawn was run over and ruts were left in the yard in the 1100 block of Janet Avenue between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. May 23. The approximate damage is $100.

  • Jessica Harden, 28, of Aurora, was arrested at 8:10 p.m. at 75th Street and Gigi for driving while license suspended and registration suspended for mandatory insurance. Harden was processed and released with a court date of June 21 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.

May 26

  • Kevin Clausen, 34, of Woodridge, was arrested at 4:20 a.m. in the 7900 block of Lemont Road for DUI-alcohol and improper lane use. Clausen was processed and released with a court date of July 12 at DuPageCounty Judicial Center.

May 28

  • Clarence Jackson, 18, of Maywood, was arrested at 12:35 p.m. at Jewel, 7335 Cass Ave., for retail theft. Jackson was processed and released with a court date for Downers Grove Traffic Court to be mailed.
  • Edvinas Vosylius, 39, of Westmont, was arrested at 11 p.m. in the 7200 block of Cass Avenue for obstructing identification, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to report an accident to police, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and failure to give information after striking unattended property.
