DUI, Stolen Car: Darien Police Reports

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Dec. 5

• Someone tried prying the door frame to gain access to a home in the 8300 block of Woodland Drive sometime between 1 and 3:36 p.m.

Dec. 6

• An unlocked vehicle was entered in the 7900 block of Pine Court sometime between 8:30 and 10:30 p.m. Nothing was reported missing.

Dec. 7

• Karima Batalova, 18, of Downers Grove, was arrested at 12:12 a.m. at Jewel, 7335 Cass Ave., for retail theft and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Batalova’s court date for Downers Grove Traffic Court to be mailed.
• Thomas Carroll, 18, of Joliet, was arrested at 12:12 a.m. in the 7300 block of Cass for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Court date for Downers Grove Traffic Court to be mailed.
• Freddie Dobbins, 57, of Chicago, was arrested at 8:42 a.m. in the 6900 block of Clarendon Hills Road for driving while license suspended, driving with expired plates and operating an uninsured vehicle. Dobbins given a court date of Feb. 14 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.

Dec. 8

• Jonnell Lewis, 19, of Westmont, was arrested at 8:59 a.m. in the 8100 block of Cass Avenue for misdemeanor possession of cannabis, obstructing identification, driving while license suspended or revoked, and illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. Lewis’s court date is Jan. 22 at DuPage County Judicial Center.

Dec. 11

• Sarah Patterson, 25, of Lisle, was arrested at 4:01 a.m. at Frontage and Hinswood for two counts of DUI-alcohol and failure to stop at stop sign. Patterson was processed and released with a court date of Jan. 8 at DuPage County Judicial Center.
• A car was stolen from Circle K gas station, 8975 Lemont Road, at 4:37 a.m. The victim left the car running while inside the station. A man previously seen in the gas station left with the car going southbound on Lemont Road.
