DUI Suspect From Darien: Police

Another Darien resident apprehended on a DuPage County traffic warrant.

DARIEN, IL — Darien police have arrested two men, including one from Darien, on DUI charges in recent days. Here is information from the latest Darien police blotter:

  • Joseph Lara, 25, of Darien, was arrested shortly before 4 a.m. Feb. 15 in the 900 block of North Frontage Road on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He is set to appear March 24 in DuPage County Court.
  • Ulises Reyna, 23, of Plainfield, was arrested shortly before midnight Feb. 14 near Plainfield Road and 75th Street on charges of DUI and illegal transportation of alcohol. He is set to appear March 24 in DuPage County Court.
  • An unlocked car was burglarized between 1:15 and 8:45 a.m. Feb. 14 in the 7700 block of Warwick Avenue. Nothing appeared to be missing.
  • Khalil Grobarek, 20, of Darien, was arrested shortly after midnight Feb. 19 at his house in Darien on a DuPage County traffic warrant for failure to appear in court.
  • A handicapped placard was stolen from a car between 3:30 p.m. and 3:30 a.m. Feb. 19 in the 7900 block of Grant Street.
