DUI, Tools Stolen, License Revoked: Darien Arrests
Darien Police reports and arrests through Sept. 19.

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Sept. 12
- A money dispenser was damaged at LMN Carwash, 1020 Plainfield Road between 4:37 and 4:43 a.m. Video of the scene shows two unknown offenders breaking into a dispenser. The cost of damage is $1,000.

- Tools and a battery were stolen from locked vehicles sometime between 4:30 and 7 a.m. in the 8400 block of Wilmette Avenue. The loss for RCH Roofing is $2,260 and U.S. Plumbing’s loss was $400.
- A video game controller was stolen by a female offender at 5:10 p.m. at Walmart, 2189 75th St. Police and loss prevention were unable to locate offender.
Sept. 15
- Djuan Stephens, 23, of Bellwood, was arrested at 4:08 a.m. at 79th Street and Farmingdale Drive for driving while license suspended and disobeying a stop sign. Stephens was processed and given a court date of Oct. 18 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.
- Someone punched a passenger car door and broke the handle sometime between 9:15 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. in the 400 block of Pheasant Ridge Court.
Sept. 17

- Tasia Banks, 31, of Romeoville, was arrested at 12:13 a.m. at Cass and Northgate avenues for DUI-alcohol, endangering the life or health of a child, illegal transportation of alcoholic liquor and failure to secure child. Banks was also wanted on a warrant from Joliet Police Department. She posted bond on warrant and was processed and given a court date of Oct. 23 at DuPage County Judicial Center.
- The victim was inside paying for gas at Speedway, 7502 Cass Ave., at 6:55 p.m. She saw three male offenders and one female offender in her car, going through her purse. She confronted them and the offenders left the gas station toward 75th Street. Nothing appears to be missing.
Sept. 18
- Nicholas Joshua Lopez, 34, of Bolingbrook, was arrested at 4:53 p.m. at Oldfield Road for driving while license revoked and speeding. Lopez was processed and given a court date of Oct. 18 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.
