DUIs, Christmas Lights Damaged: Darien Police Reports

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Dec. 20

• Christopher Simpson, 21, of Woodridge, was arrested at 3:15 p.m. at Walmart, 2189 75th St., for retail theft. Simpson was processed and advised a court date would be mailed for Downers Grove Traffic Court.
• Someone damaged Christmas lights by cutting the wires and removing the plug of the lights sometime between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Loss is $50.

Dec. 21

• Jasmine McNeal, 25, of Naperville, was arrested at 5:44 a.m. at 75th and Lemont for suspended/revoked driver's license, speeding and uninsured vehicle. McNeal was processed and released and given a court date of Jan. 10 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.
• Nicole Murray, 37, of Lisle, was arrested at 3:22 a.m. at Cass and I-55 for obstructing justice, obstructing identification, two counts of DUI, driving while license suspended and violating the minimum speed requirement. Murray was transported to DuPage County Jail.

Dec. 22

• Mona Mcilwain, 48, of the 1500 block of Lakeview Drive, was arrested at 3:56 a.m. on Plainfield Road for two counts of DUI and speeding. Mcilwain was processed and released and given a court date of Jan. 22 at the DuPage County Judicial Center.
• Katherine Voss, 29, of the 1600 block of Coachmans Road, was arrested at 7:06 p.m. at Walmart, 2189 75th St., for retail theft. She was processed and released on an I-Bond with a court date of Feb. 2 at the DuPage County Judicial Center. Loss was $302.66.

Dec. 23

• Nicholas Fleming, 47, of Naperville, was arrested at 2:55 a.m. in the 8400 block of Lemont Road for DUI, speeding and improper lane use. Fleming was processed and released and given a court date of Jan. 22 at the DuPage County Judicial Center.

Dec. 24

• Aaron Rodriguez, 27, of DeKalb, was arrested at 8:38 a.m. for driving while license suspended and no safety test sticker. Rodriguez was processed and released and given a court date of Jan. 24 at the Downer Grove Traffic Court.

Dec. 25

• Aaron Gonzales, 29, of the 7600 block of Sussex Creek Drive, was arrested at 2:20 p.m. in the 800 block of 79th Street for driving while license suspended and speeding. He was processed and released and given a court date of Jan. 24 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.
