DUIs, Wallets Stolen: Darien Arrests

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

April 4

• Amanda Daverin, 29, of Crest Hill, was arrested at 12:50 a.m. in t he 6800 block of Cass for two counts of DUI and speeding. Daverin was processed and released with a court date of May 8 at DuPage County Judicial Center.

April 5

• A victim had his keys stolen from his unlocked locker at X Sport Fitness, 7511 Lemont Road, at 8:40 a.m. The victim's wallet was then stolen from his car which was parked in the lot. The approximate loss is $550.
• Another victim also had his keys stolen from his locked locker at X Sport Fitness, 7511 Lemont Road, at 9:59 a.m. The victim's wallet was stolen from his car. The loss is $470.

April 6

• Princesswakeeta Hayes, 23, of Chicago, was arrested at 10:26 p.m. in the 8500 block of Cass for DUI, speeding and illegal transportation of alcohol. Hayes was processed and released with a court date of May 14 at DuPage County Judicial Center.

April 7

• Jose Arce Alicea, 34, of Bolingbrook, was arrested at 1:36 a.m. in the 7500 block okf Lemont Road for DUI and improper lane use. Alicea was processed and released with a court date of May 8 at DuPage County Judicial Center.
• Christopher Jaski, 42, of the 1500 block of Darien Lake Drive, was arrested at 3:11 a.m. on Darien Lake Drive for felony possession of a controlled substance, DUI, resisting a peace officer, uninsured motor vehicle, improper backing, improper stopping/parking in road, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane use. Jaski was processed and taken to DuPage County Jail.

April 10

• Gerald Bedner, 37, of the 8300 block of Captons Lane, was arrested at 1:18 a.m. in the 2500 block of North Frontage for DUI, improper lane use and illegal transportation of alcohol. Bednar was processed and released with a court date of May 8 at DuPage County Judicial Center.
