Is This A Dumping Ground In Darien?
The city plans to inspect the property and warn the owner if necessary, officials said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien on Tuesday plans to inspect the property of a vacant business to determine whether it has become a dumping ground, officials said.
At Monday's City Council meeting, Darien Mayor Joseph Marchese said a resident informed him that people are bringing mattresses, electronics and garbage to the old CVS Pharmacy, 8325 Lemont Road.
"If it's true that garbage is being piled up there, we're going to get after the owners to get that stuff removed, and they're going to have to watch it," Marchese said. "It appears that people find that an easy dropoff for their garbage."
