DuPage County Opens Public Comment For Water Quality Watershed Plan
A public meeting will be held on Thursday, Oct. 26 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Council Chamber at Darien City Hall.

DARIEN, IL — The DuPage County Stormwater Management Planning Committee voted to open the public comment period for the draft Sawmill Creek Water Quality Watershed-Based Plans. The public comment period will be open through Nov. 6.
According to the county, the plans outline projects and programs that may improve water quality throughout the Sawmill Creek Watershed, which encompasses portions of Burr Ridge, Darien, Downers Grove, Lemont, Willowbrook, Woodridge and unincorporated DuPage County. DuPage County Stormwater Management will also hold a public meeting to discuss the draft watershed plan on Thursday, Oct. 26 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Council Chamber at Darien City Hall.
Comments on the draft watershed plan must be submitted in writing by the close of business on Nov. 6. Comments may be submitted via email to Water.Quality@dupageco.org or by mail to Mary Beth Falsey, c/o Department of Stormwater Management, 421 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton, IL, 60187.
