Easter Eggstravaganza at St. John Lutheran Church in Darien to Be a K-LOVE Radio Event

St. John Lutheran Church & Early Learning Center located at 7214 South Cass Avenue in Darien, IL will host an Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with an Egg Hunt at 10:00 a.m. A Comfort Dog will be on hand to personally greet everyone. K-LOVE radio will do a live broadcast during the event and play Christian music.

In addition to looking for treat-filled plastic eggs, children and their families will have the opportunity to participate in games and to make crafts at 9:00 a.m. There will be a puppet show at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. It promises to be a joy-filled morning. This annual community outreach event is open to the public free of charge.

The event is one of many scheduled during Holy Week. Others will include: Palm Sunday Service, 9:00 a.m.; Maundy Thursday Services, 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.; Good Friday Service, 7:00 p.m.; 40-Hour Prayer Vigil, Good Friday 12:00 noon until Easter Sunday at 6:00 a.m.; Holy Saturday Vigil Service, 5:00 p.m.; Easter Sunday Sunrise Service at 6:00 a.m. and Resurrection Celebration Services at 8:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
