On July 18, 2013, the EJH Marching Band was invited to perform at the Kane County Cougars game. The band, led by band director Matt Janus, performed "Grand Old flag" followed by "The Star Spangled Banner". Although it was a scorching afternoon, the band gave a strong performance. Afterwards, the band enjoyed dinner, the game and a spectacular fireworks show.
