The EJH Symphonic Band traveled to St. Louis April 24-27 to perform at the St. Louis Music Festival. The Symphonic, Jazz, Marching Band and Winter Guard performed on April 25 and 26 led by EJH Band Director Matt Janus. Months of hard work and practice paid off as the bands gave strong performances.
EJH earned first division, superior/gold ratings for the Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Winter Guard, and Marching Band performances.
Three outstanding students were also awarded with the Maestro Award, which recognizes outstanding individual performances in an ensemble setting.
