Electronics Recycling Event Held In Darien

DARIEN, IL — Darien residents will be able to participate in a free electronics recycling event held by the city of Darien and the Environmental Committee. The city said the event is only for Darien residents, and unincorporated residents are not included.

The event will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 21 in the city hall parking lot, 1702 Plainfield Road. Residents will be required to remove their unwanted electronics from their cars and load them into the dumpster.

Items accepted include: any style television or monitor; desktop or laptop computers; any style of table; and VCR or DVD players.
