Employee Arrested After Stealing Lottery Tickets From Gas Station: Police Reports
Barnes was an employee at the gas station and was seen scratching off $199 worth of Illinois Lottery tickets.

DARIEN, IL — An employee was arrested Oct. 2 after stealing Illinois Lottery tickets from the gas station where she worked. Police arrested Wrensheda Barnes, 21, of Chicago, at 11:03 p.m. Oct. 2 at Speedway Gas Station, 10250 Lemont Road.
According to police reports, Barnes was an employee at the gas station and was seen scratching off $199 worth of Illinois Lottery tickets. She was charged with one count of retail theft. Barnes also had two active failure to appear warrants from DuPage and DeKalb counties.
Barnes posted bond on both warrants and was released with a court date of Nov. 7 at the DuPage
County Judicial Center for the retail theft.
