Environmental Forum Planned At Indian Prairie Library

There will be a discussion on environmental topics, including flooding, recycling, composting, transportation and storm water issues.

DARIEN, IL — State Sen. John Curran and State reps. Jim Durkin and David Olsen will host an environmental forum in Darien on Aug. 23. According to a release, the forum will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Indian Prairie Library in Darien.

The lawmakers will be hosting a discussion on a number of environmental topics, including flooding, recycling, composting, transportation and storm water issues. According to a release, the event will feature speakers from the Illinois Environmental Council, Sierra Club, SCARCE, and the Metropolitan Planning Council. There will be a Q&A opportunity following the speaker presentations.
