Celebrate the Season Musical Program Sunday December 11th
If you are looking for a special treat to make your Christmas a meaningful one this year, don't miss this musical event on December 11th at Christ Lutheran Church of Clarendon Hills! At both the 8:30 and 10:00 AM services, the Adult Choir, Sunday School Choir, and Handbell ensemble will present Celebrate the Season, a Christmas cantata by Joel Raney.
This festive and somewhat contemporary cantata, helps us recall the true meanings of Christmas. With styles ranging from traditional classical, to jazz, and everything in between, the music tells the Christmas story in a fresh and exciting way. You will hear strains of your favorite carols woven throughout the music and in the narration, you'll hear a message of peace, hope and love that is sent to us in the form of a tiny child, Jesus Christ.
