Chicago Pet Show

Whether you want a pet or need to buy supplies for the one you already have, the Chicago Pet Show at the Darien Sportsplex will have what you're looking for.

Last year, more than 100 pets were adopted during the show, and this year the group hopes to exceed that number. The show will feature not just cats and dogs, but other animals as well.

Groups represented include: Greater Chicago Cavalier Rescue (Cavalier King Charles); S.T.R.A.E.S (Shih Tzu rescue); Southern Star MinPin Rescue, Inc (MinPin); Aussie Rescue & Placement Helpline, Inc. (Australian Shepard); The Glider Initiative (Sugar Glider rescue); and Strays Halfway House.

Admission is $7 for adults, free for seniors 65+ and children younger than 18.
