Children Invited to Explore Renovated Indian Prairie Library, Visit with Author Jim Aylesworth

Create your own colorful scratch art "stained glass" sun catchers at our Make and Take Craft Station. Drop in.

From 2:20 p.m. and 3:40-4 p.m., meet the mouse from If you Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Numeroff! Bring your camera! Drop in.

From 2:30-3:30 p.m., visit with award-winning author Jim Aylesworth. He's written more than 30 books including The Mitten, awarded the silver Parent's Choice Award. He'll bring his rollicking rhythm and rhyme to the library. Get tickets for this event at the Kids & Teens Ask Me desk beginning Thursday, Nov. 11.

Then, visit the new creation station - it's stocked with great ideas for fun crafts and all the materials to make it happen. Make a creation at the library or at home. During December, make items to place on our holiday tree.
